All of the solar post cap lights in this section will fit your 3.5" x 3.5" nominal wood posts, and will include mounting bases from 3 9/16" to 3.75" to fit securely over your 3.5" fence posts. Measure your posts from outside to outside to ensure you purchase the correct size.

If you have the rare 3.25" x 3.25" posts that some deck builders manufacture, you can purchase this size and have only about a 1/4" gap. The gap can be filled with wood shims, epoxy or liquid nails, exterior caulking, or rubber weather stripping for 1/4" gaps.
