Solar fence post lights create a special warmth, for a more enjoyable deck and outdoor living space. Purchase this set of 2 Classy Caps 3x3 Solar Fence Post Lights and watch your home spring to life with wonderful free light when the sun goes down.
These solar post cap lights will fit over your actual 3" x 3" fence posts, using the separate 3x3 adapter included with your purchase.
Our low profile solar fence post cap lights are made with rugged, maintenance-free powder coated cast aluminum housing. The classic curved lenses are made from non-yellowing Plexi-glas to maintain their attractive looks for years. They include 2 color modes of Warm White and Cool White LED in each fence post cap.
If your deck or fence receives 6 to 8 hours of sunlight during the day, you will receive up to 10 hours of light at night. Before you install the solar post cap lights in the sun, remove the fixture head by turning it to the Left, then push the switch to either the Warm White or Bright White color mode, and enjoy the light the solar post caps will give you every night.
With your purchase, you will receive a set of two Black Imperial 2.5 x 2.5 solar post caps, with a fixture size of 4.75 x 4.75 x 2.5 H, and a separate package of two 3 1/16" x 3 1/16" mounting bases to fit your deck posts.
To change the mounting base, you will need to remove the 2.25" mounting base that is attached to the bottom 1/2" or so of the 2.5" base. You do need to look closely, but there is a separate piece of metal, the 2.25" base, that is only about 1/2" high. Pull it off. That will leave the 2.5" base. Install your separate 3" mounting base over the 2.5" existing base on the light, and you are ready to install the post cap onto your fence post. You can discard the 2.25" adapter that you pulled off, and the 2" adapter that is automatically included from the factory with the 2.5" solar cap lights.
These 3x3 Black solar fence post cap lights can be secured to your posts with exterior grade adhesive or caulking

Solar Fence Post Lights
We purchased ten of the 3"x3" Black Solar Fence Post Lights for the metal railing around our new deck. The post lights are high quality - the housings are made of powder coated aluminum and the lenses of clear polycarbonate. They put out great light (10 lumens - more than other comparable units) and are easy to assemble and dismantle to change batteries when that time arrives. The adapter kits for the 3x3 posts are well made and fit perfectly. Customer Service has been great! I highly recommend these lights!

Classy Caps 3 x3 post lights
I really like these lights. The only thing that I think needs addressed is that the caps just sit on the post . There are no set screws or glue to secure them. We are using them on the stairs of our new deck, and I am afraid that someone may grab one of them and lose their balance and take a tumble down the stairs. I am planning on drilling and tapping the base and putting set screws in them to make them more secure.

Solar Deck Post Lights - early results
Early indications are great! Much better than a much higher priced competitor (which we subsequently returned). Lights are bright and even across all 12 lights we purchased and so far they stay lit all night long. Would've been a 5 star rating, but the painted finish on several of the caps isn't great (we just turned the blemished side towards some bushes). Nice product for the money.
