The Angel solar powered fountain with battery backup will automatically switch between solar power only during the day, and the battery backup during cloudy days and at night.

Our Sunnydaze Angel Falls solar powered water fountain includes LED Lights and a backup battery. The LED lights make the waterfall even more amazing at night with the bluish light sparkling on the water. The backup battery will store leftover energy during the day that is not being used to run your small water fountain. During partly cloudy days, and at night, the battery will power your fountain until the energy is depleted, up to 4 hours.

The separate solar panel, with a 16 foot cable, gathers the energy from sunshine during the day. Be sure to install the panel in the sunniest spot, in your garden or by your deck, to get the most hours of waterfall from your fountain.

Solar Fountain with Battery Backup Details: 

This solar cascading fountain will operate on sun powered solar in good sunlight conditions, the pump will be powered by solar energy, and will run continuously as long as the sun is shining. At the same time, the interior battery pack will be recharged via any excess solar energy. 

During partly cloudy days or at night, the battery will automatically run the fountain until the battery is discharged completely, usually around 4 hours if the battery is fully charged. When the batteries are depleted that night, the system will automatically switch to be powered by the solar panel for the next day, and the fountain will resume running when the sun comes out.
