This solar water fountain includes Dry Run Protection Pump Technology, a very important feature. Most solar water pumps continue to run until the fountain runs dry of water, which burns out your water pump. Not so with with this Solar Birdbath Fountain! This fountain includes the wonderful technology that will automatically shut off the water pump if the fountain runs low on water, and will save the life of your pump.

The Battery Backup feature on our solar powered water fountain gives you options when you prefer to listen to the soothing and tranquil sounds of the waterfall.

In the Solar Mode during sunny days, the fountain and pump will run using energy from the sun, and store any extra energy in the installed Battery.

By manually switching to the Battery Mode, you can run the solar tiered water fountain for approximately 4 hours during cloudy days or at night with a fully charged battery. When the energy stored in the battery is depleted, the fountain will automatically switch back to Solar Mode and start running the next day when there is sufficient sunlight to power the pump. You must manually switch the solar panel to the Battery Mode.
