The solar coach lanterns are made from coastal approved resin, for high humidity and salty air locations, to avoid rust and decay from the elements. The light pole, gooseneck and back plate are made from powder coated cast aluminum for strength and durability.

The triple lantern solar pole light is one of the first Gama Sonic solar light models to feature their newest technology, morphed solar panels. Take a close look at the curved portion of the light fixture, and you will notice the solar panels and the light sensors go all the way around the fixture, unlike normal boxed solar panel pieces that limits the amount of power the solar panels can pull in from the sun.  

This new solar panel technology allows the solar panel to morph into the light fixture, and to draw the absolute most energy from the sun in the least amount of time. With just 6 hours of unfiltered sun, you'll get up to 2 nights of lighting.

The outdoor solar pole light also includes added benefits of a high or low switch to extend the light duration, from 10 hours on HIGH to 17 hours on LOW. The 3 solar coach lights have a replaceable 2700K Warm White LED solar bulb that emits a combined 450 lumens of light on High, and around 200 lumens on Low.

Morphed Solar Panel Technology:

By bending solar cells to fit curved surfaces, the solar coach light fixtures morph into a solar panel and creates a larger surface area to harness power from the sun. Thus, allowing more solar panels to fit onto the light fixture, resulting in a longer battery duration and brighter light.

Replacing the A50 10W Solar LED Bulb: 

• Detach the Solar Coach Lantern Fixture Head lid
• Turn the light operation to OFF
• Remove the existing solar bulb by turning it counterclockwise, just like a regular electric bulb
• Install the new LED bulb by turning into the bulb socket clockwise
• Turn the light operation to ON
• Reassemble the unit working backwards on instructions
• Pressure on the solar panel area of the coach lantern should always be kept to a minimum to avoid damage
• NOTE: These GS Solar Light Bulbs are Low Voltage, and work ONLY with Gama Sonic solar lamp post light products. They are NOT for use in any type of electrical socket.
